About Me

Dr. Sheppard says, “Dentistry has so much to offer patients: not just the comfort of a healthy smile–new technology enables me to give my patients the beautiful, white smile they feel is important.” Her dedication to her patients is one of the reasons she chose Gentle Dental: “I enjoy building doctor-patient relationships. Trust is so important in helping patients deal with their dental fears, so they can enjoy healthy, beautiful teeth. Gentle Dental provides the environment, along with an excellent staff, to make this a reality.”
Dr. Sheppard has a diverse dental background: she’s served her country as an Army Reserve Dental Officer; worked at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry; and has been in practice for 25 years. She’s received the Quintessence Award Recognition for Dental Research, as well as the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Certificate of Recognition. She’s a member of the A.D.A., WA State Dental Association, and the Snohomish County Dental Association.
A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, she loves life in the Pacific Northwest, where “on my days off I become a great tourist–exploring, learning, and enjoying the area’s wonders.”
