About Me

Dr. Gerhards was introduced to his vocation by his friend. “As an undergraduate at USC my roommate was a dental student. Daily he shared his academic and clinical experiences with me. After that year, I knew that dentistry was going to be a great fit for me! Dr. Gerhards says “I enjoy the opportunity to make people’s lives better by helping them to achieve the best dental health possible. I also enjoy the daily interactions with my fellow dental colleagues and Gentle Dental team members”.
 
Dr. Gerhards received his D.D.S. from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry. He says “after practicing dentistry for more than 35 years, I’m still excited by all the technological advances at my disposal. I value the importance of continued dental education and look forward to improving my dental skills with every opportunity. I stress excellent communication with my patients, so that they can understand that what we do together will ultimately bring the best result.” A member of many organizations, he is a volunteer for the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.
 
Dr. Gerhards says “I am a “fair-weather” gardener. I like hiking and recreational swimming. In the Fall I always look forward to the College Football Season”.
