About Me

Dr. Choi says “You can expect me to listen to your needs and to treat you as I would my family. I will provide you with the most comprehensive and gentle periodontal care. The most exiting part of my job is to be able to care for my patients and help them achieve optimal dental health in a caring, comfortable environment using the latest techniques and technologies.”

After studying Biology at Cornell Univeristy, Dr. Choi received her D.D.S. from the UCLA School of Dentistry. She also completed additional studies there and received a speciaty certificate in Periodontology. She is a member of American Academy of Periodontology and the California Society of Periodontists. She speaks Korean, too.

 
She has received the California Society of Periodontists Robert L. Merin Leadership Award, was a Howard Hughes Research Scholar, and has authored national and international research publications including the American Journal of Pathology.
 

Dr. Choi’s leisure time is spent with her family, friends and in church activities.
