Zahra Hashemi, D.D.S.
About Me
Growing up, Dr. Zara Hashemi saw her mother lose her teeth at a young age. This personal experience led Dr. Hashemi to pursue dentistry as a career, in which she most enjoys giving her patients nice, healthy smiles.
Dr. Hashemi began her dental studies in her home country of Iran, where she received her D.D.S. degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. After almost ten years of practice, she moved to the United States and attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry to earn her Master’s degree in Prosthodontics. As an active member of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Dr. Hashemi ‘s services as a General Dentist are supplemented with implant and other prosthodontic procedures.
In addition to English, Dr. Hashemi is fluent in Farsi. Her personal interests range from the artistic to athletic, and include playing music, cooking, traveling, biking, hiking, and playing tennis.
