About Me

Dr. Chaekal enjoys making people smile! She brings this passion to her career as an Orthodontist across multiple Gentle Dental offices in Hawaii.
Dr. Chaekal received her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley, then went on to study Orthodontics and gain her D.D.S. Degree at Columbia University. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Hawaii Dental Organization and the Hawaii Academy of Orthodontics.
In her spare time, Dr. Chaekal’s personal interests include piano. She is fluent in Korean.
