About Me

Throughout his childhood, Dr. Justin Braga fostered a love for science and a desire to interact and care for others. While studying Cellular & Molecular Biology at the University of Washington, a volunteer position at the UW Medical Center Dental Clinic helped him realize that dentistry would bring together his lifelong interests into a career. He received his D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry, but realized he wanted to train further in a specialty.
 
Intrigued by Periodontics, he completed a Master’s degree in this area at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. His academic work on this specialty was recognized with multiple awards, including the 2009 Implant Research Award from the California Society of Periodontology. Dr. Braga finds Periodontics “truly satisfying” for its position on the forefront of scientific and technological advancement. Through his work, he is able to blend his passions for surgery, science, and complex, comprehensive dentistry with opportunities to build relationships and provide a high level of care for his patients.
 
Dr. Braga remains active in several professional organizations, such as the California Society of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration. In his free time, he enjoys surfing and snowboarding. He also has a great interest in anything to do with marine life, including snorkeling, swimming, boating, fishing, and even just spending time on the beach.
