Ying Lu, D.D.S.
About Me
Dr. Lu was drawn to dentistry for its role in helping others to improve their smiles. In addition, she has great people skills, and enjoys meeting people of all backgrounds through her work.
After studying Oral Medicine at Beijing Medical University, Dr. Lu came to the U.S. to obtain her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Michigan. She received a National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Fellowship, which took her to Harvard Medical School for a year. For her D.D.S. degree, Dr. Lu attended UCLA School of Dentistry, where she was awarded Outstanding Performance in the Section of Endodontics. At this time, she was also selected as the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry by the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Lu is fluent in Chinese. Her hobbies include yoga, running, hiking, skiing, reading, and singing.
