Sharon Phamduong, D.D.S.
About Me
Dr. Phamduong was attracted to dentistry because it combines two of her favorite things: learning science and creating beauty with her hands. She is dedicated to listening to her patients’ concerns and helping them achieve a healthy mouth, and enjoys these personal interactions.
After studying Biological Sciences, with an emphasis in Molecular Cell Biology, at UC Davis, Dr. Phamduong went on to receive her D.D.S. degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. She then attended the USC School of Dentistry to focus on Periodontics and complete her Masters degree in that field. She has been nominated for the California Society of Periodontists Research Award, and is an active member of professional organizations such as the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Phamduong is board certified, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology for her significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty.
In her free time, Dr. Phamduong likes to watch movies, hike, and go to aquariums. She also has three cats at home, named Luckie, Oreo, and Kaya. She is proficient in Vietnamese.
