About Me

I strive to be a compassionate and gentle dentist who always puts her patients first.  I pride myself in treating my patients with the utmost attention, care, and respect.  I believe that one of my greatest strengths is the skill to perform procedures with minimal pain to you while prioritizing your comfort and well being.  If there is a fast way versus a less painful but longer way to do a procedure, I will always choose the less painful way.
 
My goal every day is to have satisfied patients leaving the office pain-free and with a big beautiful smile.  I love my job because at the end of the day my hard work is on display, and I get the satisfaction that I have done my part in improving of the oral health and confidence of my patients.  I take my job very seriously and hope that I have the opportunity to treat you in the near future!
 
For my undergraduate degree, I attended UC Berkeley on a scholarship. I then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA and earned my D.M.D.  Afterward, I completed a residency at the Veterans Hospital in Fresno.
 
I have also worked in Costa Rica and Nicaragua helping rural communities by performing dental procedures and educating them on the basics of oral hygiene.  I have also done volunteer work in several under-served communities in Pennsylvania and California and even had Arnold Schwarzenegger as my dental assistant!
 
I stay on top of all the latest technologies by attending several national conferences every year, attending continuing education courses, reading the latest books on patient treatment and management, and reading dental journals and publications.  I also am an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Santa Clara Dental Society.
 
In my free time, I love trying new and exotic foods.  I also enjoy hiking and hope one day to hike up Mount Kilimanjaro.
