Mimi Salkola, D.D.S.
About Me
When patients sit in Dr. Mimi Salkola’s dental chair, she always wants them to feel confident of the facility and care they are receiving. Accordingly, she treats each patient like her own family and strives to exceed expectations with her work. She truly enjoys interacting with her patients and helping them to restore their smiles.
Dr. Salkola first studied Biology at UCLA, before entering the School of Dentistry at UCSF. While earning her D.D.S. degree, she was recognized for her scholastic performance with several awards: UCSF Dean’s List; CDA Excellence in Academic Achievement; and the Weyerhauser Academic Achievement Award. She remains current within the industry through her membership to the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, CDA, and ADA. In addition to General Dentistry, Dr. Salkola provides Cosmetic Dentistry services and particularly enjoys doing Veneers.
Dr. Salkola’s personal interests include operas, classical music, art, and literature. She also enjoys watching classic and British movies. Dr. Salkola is multi-lingual and is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese, as well as proficient in Spanish.
