About Me
In 1974, Dr. Edelman partnered with Dr. Ralston to create Total Dental Care. From its conception, they both have been committed to the vision of having a variety of specialists under one roof, and the doctors have worked hard to deliver this practice to their community. Dr. Edelman has expanded his total care of patients to include cosmetic dentistry; for this, he obtained a specialty degree from the University of the Pacific, which has one of the top programs in the world for cosmetics in dentistry. Since this program, he has joyfully transformed many, many smiles for his patients.
Dr. Edelman and his wife, Abra, have two daughters, Lindsey and Rory, and a son, Shane. They also have two grandsons, Ace and Levi, as well as a granddaughter, J.P. Several years ago, their youngest daughter, Rory, launched a fashion line called Rory Beca, that has become a family business over the last several years involving Abra(CEO), Rory (designer), Lindsey (PR), Shane (painting fabrics), and daughter-in-law Natasha (sales).
Dr. Edelman is a leading dental practitioner and is known for his lectures on running a successful dental practice and for his programs on mentoring dentists. This has led outside of the dental industry in the last several years. His work in communication, thinking, and acting outside of what’s normal and comfortable has taken him to major companies in the U.S. and Canada. Companies such as Hewlett Packard, Flextronics, Bombardier, I.T.T., and ESPN have used his breakthrough technology to have their people work with others more effectively. This work has complimented his ability to communicate and take care of his dental patients more effectively.
Through it all, he still finds time for two of his favorite things: being a grandfather and playing basketball a lot.
