About Me

Dr. Akhondi says, “I love to be a dentist. I always enjoyed using my hands for painting, playing music and pottery.” She feels Dentistry combines artistry with the fundamentals of science. “When I am practicing Dentistry, it is a creative experience–I feel like an artist.” Dr. Akhondi says, “I like helping people and making them smile better–giving them the confidence to go out and be anyone they wish to be because they don’t have to hide their smile.
 
“ After graduating from Cal State University-Fullerton, Dr. Akhondi received her Dental Degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. To keep aware of cutting edge technology, she’s a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. And she speaks Farsi and Turkish as well!
 
In her free time, Dr. Akhondi like to be outdoors: biking, hiking and camping. She also enjoys spending time in her studio: she is an avid painter and potter.
